Well, Disney does do everything great! We were on the Jan 23 Wonder and disembarked on the 27th and spent 1 more night at the Radisson. We flew home from Buffalo and after driving home we arrived around midnight. Of course all the kids crashed into their beds because the next day was back to the old grind and it was sport games to return to. Of course Sunday was church and visiting the inlaws to tell them of our trip. By the time we got home on Sunday night it was time for bed, well DD 9 had just realized her Game Boy Advanced was missing and she only remembers having it on the boat! Oh great, so I called the Radisson and they did not have it. So I called Disney Cruise Lines and left a message with there Lost & Found Department. Well, I just recieved a call and they had found it and are mailing it out today!

I thought for sure it was gone forever! Thank you Disney Cruise LInes!

DCL's lost & found gets tons of stuff. Most, I was told, was from returning passengers who place their belongings on the x-ray machine and forget to pick them up.

I had done just that and left a little 'ole shot glass on the screening table. I thought it was history, but gave L&F a shot. As typical Disney they must have it organized to the 9's because they returned in less then 5 minutes with my shot glass! :earseek: :cheer2: :bounce:

They have to be the most organized company out there! DD did not even know where she lost it! She does not remember having it in her stateroom and thinks that it might have fallen out of her carry on! I think that the L& F would be a rather interesting place to work too!

6 years ago my son who was 18 months at the time carried around with him a small plastic baseball bat. Well we were on the ferry from the transport center to Magic Kingdom and he threw it out from his carriage and it fell into the water. We watched it just floating in the wake of the ferry and he started to cry and I started to cry it was awful! My DH as soon as we docked went to the harbormaster to let him know what happened and if he found it to please call us in our room.

He said let me just check to see if I can see it - we gave a general location and direction it was floating in!

About 20 minutes later after he called into the dock several times he located the bat and returned it to us! WE WERE SHOCKED! He refused to take a tip for such an above and beyond!

It was awesome! We still have that bat and plan to pass it to the generations to come! It is in practically every picture of our first sons from age 9mos. to about 2 1/2 y.o. At that point he had a little brother who was fun to torture and the bat became a thing of the past. We still take it out if he asks us to.

Disney is unbelievable.

I'd also like to give my three cheers to the DCL lost and found. My 4 year old daughter left her velvet dress by accident in the club bathroom and after many tears and searches we found it at guest services. Sure saved my bacon!! :cutie:

OK why was your child removing her clothing in the club  And why didn't you notice she wasn't wearing anything when you picked her up :teeth:

ha! She wanted to dress up for her dinner in the animators palate but change for the Lilo and Stitch party at the club. I brought the t-shirt and shorts for her to change into, just forgot to take the dress away with me! :rotfl2:

On our Nov. 6th cruise, my daughter used a special tinkerbell book for her autographs. She was also using it as a daily journal for her "homework." On the last night, we took it to the 'Til We Meet Again show and got all of our last autographs. Afterward we took a walk and sat out on the deck 4 lounge chairs. That was the last we saw of it.

My daughter was devastated when we got home and realized we didn't have it. Well, I called DCL lost and found and, sure enough, they had it and they were kind enough to send it right out to our home. We received it within the week.

DCL lost & found ROCKS!! :cheer2:

We left 5 t shirts we bought in Cozumel on the xray machine and did not realize until a week after we got back. called DCL thinking no chance at all since we were not sure where we left the bag. They had it!! They are awesome, even told us where we left it. Xray belt. Spent too much time at local watering hole I guess. :earsboy:

I Left A Nice Monogrammed Bag Under The Bed, And Was Never Found, I Called On Sunday When I Realized I Had Left It There Called Immediately, They Said They Checked And It Wasnt There, I Assume The People Who Came In The Room After Us Took It, It Was A Mm Monogrammed Duffel Bag,

my husband lost a $300.00 pair of sunglasses on space mountain (we won't get into why he had these glasses or why he had them on in space mountain!!!) But they flew off. Figured gone

The morning we were leaving, I said what the heck and called Lost and Found, the stuff from the night before wasn't in yet.

When we got home, we called, and they had them, shipped them home no charge, not a scratch on them. (he tells me that's why they were so expensive, they are bomb proof!!)

OK, I'll join in. October 2003 we were in Epcot and DH dropped his Nextel in SpaceShip Earth. We didn't notice until we got back to our condo. Well, I had my Nextel and kept calling it. A CM answered it and DH got back in the car and went to get it. Very, very nice. Especially since it was a WORK telephone. I concur with all of you, L&F at WDW, or DCL (which our first cruise isn't until 5/27/06) has to be the best I've ever come in contact with.
