Yesterday was my DD's marching band competition--the first of the 2 remaining hurdles in my way to making 100 days cheat free. I was so afraid that I would lose control and stuff myself with nachos, hot dogs and all kinds of concession stand goodies. We were scheduled to be there most of the day with no opportunities for an nutritious meal, so I could just see myself becoming hungry and giving in.
I did go prepared--I took a couple of bananas and a peanut butter sandwich on light bread, and I planned to buy water at the concession stands. It turned out I didn't need to be worried at all. What happened was that it rained on us. And not just rained, but absolutely poured--almost the whole time we were there!! I had a poncho, so my shirt stayed relatively dry, but my jeans were absolutely soaked!! I highly recommend near drowning as a weight control method!! Believe me, the last thing you will have on your mind is eating!!
We were so miserable, we stopped at a Walmart and bought dry clothes for the drive home. We also stopped at Cracker Barrel and since I didn't have lunch I had extra points to spare and was fine! (I had the grilled pork chop, mashed potatoes, green beans and a cornbread muffin. )
So, I cleared the first hurdle. Or rather, the rain floated me over it!! Four days to go!!!

I wish you strength for the days ahead - you can do it!!!
I'm really proud of you! I might have used the rain as an excuse to eat away my misery, but not you! You turned it into a reason not to eat! Great job! I know you will make it through the next few days cheat free! You are such an inspiration!
