They run to fast. I have so many of them in the feild behind our house. We'll never kill those though.

If I ever get any for my house, it won't be any that I or my husband kills and takes to the Taxidermy. I'll buy some.

I don't want to look at an animal everyday, that I killed. I'll think it's like plotting their revenge on me or something.

I see no problem with hunting as long as your hunting for food or to get rid of animals that are becoming pests.By animals that are becoming pests I mean wild boars and coyotes.Those animals can be nightmares if they aren't kept in check.

I think hunting is horrible no matter what.
and please don't tell me that at some point hunting will neccisary to me, because I don't eat any animals or wear leather/fur/etc.
I don't see how anybody could possible intentionally kill a living thing for leisure.
I guess I can see how people hunt for survival, if they use EVERY SINGLE PART of the animal for something. None to waste.

I have hunted (moose, caribou, mtn goats/sheep, grouse/partridge), and will continue to hunt ... I love to fish, and I'll keep doing that too. I shared a trapline with my brother as well (not any more 'cause I don't have the time & I'm not always in F'banks to help him out).
We eat all of the game that we've taken, there is no waste.

due to the way that humans have interfered with natural enviornments, many herd animals no longer breed to the point of their resources, they breed far past that. they're squished into a fraction of the area they used to have range over.

its our responsibility to thin their herds for them. if not, more than the set number will die, possibly all will die.

if someone follows the rules of each hunting season, i have no issues with it at all. even if they're trophy hunting.

poaching, i have issues with.

i also have issues with stupid americans trying to force their ideals of hunting on foreign cultures, though. like when they try to prevent dolphin and seal hunts in other countries. that, i have issues with.

eta, i also wear white rabbit mukluks.

sorry, i don't think i would like going on a murder spree.

i think hunting is terrible. i mean, if its what you LIVE off of i can understand that. but if you are just doing it for fun.. EW! how can that even BE fun? killing an animal, watching it suffer, picking up the dead animal and taking it home? oh and then hanging the head on the wall. how could you ever do that? seriously i would be severely embaressed and ashamed to have animal heads on my wall. to me its says "i am barbaric".

if you are hunting for survival, then i think its ok. if you are going to kill animals, they should be used for food and warmth. in this instance, i think its ok to have the heads mounted on walls. but i wouldn't do it. i find it creepy

People have hunted for thousands of years no reason to stop now as long as the animal is not endangered from it.

I have never hunted but i know people that do.

I agree....I used the argument of human overpopulation (I'm sure some of you heard the plans to make pandas exstinct to make room for more humans to live in china...). I honestly don't think we as humans have the need to hunt like we did centuries ago, I mean meat was a sacred (or a special occasion type) food...it wasn't eaten all the time, everyday (that is actually a very recent thing).

People who hunted thousands of years ago did it for survival, I'm doubting the people who hunt nowadays (I'm refering to the people who do it for the sport of it) are doing it for the same reasons...I mean it used to be common practise in some cultures to eat their dead relatives, so is still ok because that was what people did centuries ago? And when do people know when its time to stop hunting? I mean the amount of fish in the sea has decreased rapidly.

no, but they made laws concerning how many children the chinese can have. i don't see animals following those laws.
