If you drag out all of your reports long enough, and I drag out all my reports long enough, you might just help me make it until the next trip.
Disney co-dependence...it's a beautiful thing. Sniff.
Food porn addiction ... we're the only ones who really understand.
**rolls eyes** Oh wait, forgot there was an emote for that.

Ok, if you absolute must avoid all that "Hollywood" crap they did, do what I do. Call it the Studios. It's nice and generic, and it should survive any more name changes. Maybe.
I think I
will just refer to it as the Studios - everyone will know what I mean but I don't have to confuse my brain by saying we're at the Hollywood Studios in Florida ...
The ducks probably were in the mood for more Brenda leg. It explains why you only have one leg now, doesn't it?
If I were to divulge just what happened to that leg ...
I've done the walk when it wasn't so freakin' hot as it was that week. Otherwise I would probably pass out from the heat and humidity. The walk is great in December. Even in the pouring rain. (If you have a great raincoat to walk around in, that is.)
I enjoyed the walk much more in the morning than I did in the afternoon when we lost all of our shade. It was downright unpleasant for a while - hot, sticky, sweaty, and stinky.
Yuk.
Ah, you had a Sandra Lee Moment! I'm going to call that drink, Brenda's Cup o' Sin.

I love it!!
Did you pose yourselves to that mock look of horror, or did PhotoPass tell you to pose that way? My money is on you, of course. You do adore cheese. In its many forms.
We had a little help from the Photopass guy. And I do love cheese ... I'm eating it right now ... and later I'm thinking of typing some.

Oh that's just freakin' brilliant! You've taken a page from me and imposed yourself on a stranger! Although technically, I knew who you two were before I imposed myself upon you. But I have asked
Disneyland cast members to pose with my plush Figment beanie baby.
I couldn't believe that I did that with no help from an alcoholic beverage at all. Just 100% goofy Brenda ... scary, isn't it?
Many people don't "get" your kind of humor. Sadly, many of them also travel to Disney.
With me, people either get it or they don't - there doesn't seem to be much middle ground. Once they do "get" it, they quickly realize that about 98% of what I say is tongue-in-cheek. I don't take much very seriously ... where's the fun in that?
Wow! You actually bought one of Disney's myriad of radioactive drinks! More power to you.

I can't convince myself to pay that much to get a glowcube when I can get at Oriental Trading Company for a lot less.
Honestly, when we ordered the milkshakes we just wanted the boozy-ice creamy goodness. The waiter told us we each "qualified" for a cube based on the ridiculous price of our drinks. It was fun, but I wouldn't go out of my way to order a drink just to get a glow-cube.
Not to mention the Royale with Cheese (and a heap-load of bacon) earlier.
We had to have our Vincent Vega moment.
Pulp Fiction remains one of our favorite movies of all time. Jay took me to see it shortly after we started dating. Several years later he told me the fact that I laughed during several scenes in the movie convinced him that I was the sick, twisted girl for him.
I'm so glad it's not a pic of you two making out in someone's backseat.

That's a really cute pic of you both. Not just Mr. Photogenic. You too, missy. Yes you.
Bwaaaaaahahahaha!! Next time we go there I think I'm going to suggest that and ask the server to take a picture of us lip-and-limb locked!
Thanks ... that's very nice of you.
I'm not fond of Sci Fi Dine In under normal circumstances. But if I had lunch there with you too, doing MST3K commentary, I think I'd enjoy it a heckuva lot more! (My favorite MST3K movie isn't sci fi. It's that Joe Don Baker classic, "Mitchell". Some things bear the "rewind and replay" feature in many parts of it.)
You'll have to try Sci-Fi MST3K on your next visit (the milkshakes don't hurt, either!). Our favorite MST3K is
Manos: The Hands of Fate. It's just awful ...
It would be cool if we end up going to a signature dinner together
If it's the right dinner at the right time, we would be all over finally going to one. And it would be awesome to share it with some DIS-friends!
Thanks for the pics of Scifi!! We'll be back there for Star Wars weekend, baby!! Congrats on the October trip! I would love to go on our just the two of us trip then, but Chuck's heart is set on Mousefest (December.)!
Hey Lynn! Have fun on the Star Wars visit - some year we will have to try to get down to WDW for that. And you know ... this year you go to Mousefest to make the Chuckster happy ... next year you go in October to sample the joy that is the F&W Festival!
Awwwww Brenda, did ya hafta??
Sorry to bring up bad memories, but we can't make up our minds if Jay had a virus or food poisoning, so I had to cover all the bases. Here's a hug to make you feel a little better.
Brenda, you've got to move your dates later!!! I think the
LEGO Plankton would love to meet his larger, more famous, counterpart. We'll be there from Oct. 19-24. That's DD6's fall break from school. Plus, Buzz (MontanaDisneyFan) and his family will be there then as well!
By the way, our newest update shows Plankton with his favorite chocolate temptation.... you'll have to come over and check it out!
Hi Jodi! I wish we could move the dates, but they're stuck in stone now. It's too too bad, because I'd have loved to met you all in person. And I know Plankton would want to destro... uh, meet his LEGO doppleganger.
Heading over to your TR shortly ... can't wait to see what's been going on!
I.
Am.
So.
Jealous.
I'm not sure I can talk to you now...
You are toooo lucky! YOU get to go back for another F&WF. I wanna go so bad!!
Well - here's a heartfelt congratulations although I will admit, I wish I was going with you.
Loved the update. I think I may just have to go to Sci-Fi now - 50's PT won out before. The burger looked calor-iffic.
Have a happy workweek. (now you know you're going back - it should be easier!)
Ms. H
Thanks, Ms. H ... too bad you can't swing another short trip this fall. All I can say is I love the vacation club and I love unexpected promotions for Jay. It's really the promotion that sealed it - otherwise we were just going to stay home and stare at each other's feet this fall.
And the burger was very yummy ... as was the shake!
Cass love trust me that is not Bacon you see in that picture,it's fake cheap Bacon you can find it all over the U.S.A,should come see the Buttie Hazel has just presented me with i think Ive died and gone to Bacon buttie heaven, half a pig in a flat bread cake...
Well, it's bacon the way we uncouth colonists like it. Not too crisp, not too soggy, and lots of it!
I did not Paige; I felt the bounder she was with was way over friendly for my liking...
It's all about the ice cream, AFEG ... I thought you knew that.
Without us?...

......Just when we thought our "After the REPO" depression couldn't get any worse Bendy goes to WDW without us,am going to go take out my frustrations on the fruit bowl,no am not going to eat the bloody stuff am going to kick the living daylights out of a grape....
You're going on a Panama Canal cruise, what do you have to be sad about?
Just what I needed to start a crappy Monday morning out right ... an update from Brenda!!
Glad you enjoyed the Sci-Fi. We had lunch there in October, too, but obviously ordered the wrong thing. Our meals were kind of . . . blech. I had some chicken sandwich thing that was really dry and tasteless. I can't remember what DH had but he didn't care for it. My parents were very happy with their reuben, that they split. Really, it's just a sandwich, you can't manage that on your own?

I'm not sure how I missed those alcoholic milkshakes. The kids had the regular kind and they were very good, so it may be worth a trip back just for the alcoholic version and a couple of sides of onion rings.
I'm so glad you're going back in Oct.! With no trip in the works, I'm living vicariously through trip reports. Looking forward to more!
Hi there Lori! Glad I could help get Monday off to a better start. Sorry to hear that your Sci-Fi food wasn't very good - next time stick with burgers and boozy shakes - you'll be happier!
Thanks for reading!!
Loved reading about your experiences at the Sci-fi, Brenda, I really must give the lunch menu a go, I love the atmosphere in there. I giggle at the clips too! How could you not?
Glad you liked it! I definitely think lunch is the meal of choice at Sci-Fi. I'm also glad to hear so many of my food friends like to snicker at the movie clips, too. We're not alone!!!
...and THAT is why I no longer live in MO!
I have one of them new-fangled "days off" today, so I shall attempt to catch up on your tales of eatin'!
Crystal!!! How the heck are you? And you've escaped from the armpit of the midwest ... I'm so jealous! Hope you are well - it's nice to see you posting here!
