Hey everyone! Sometimes I'll be driving to work at around 7:30 in the morning, and as I'm passing through property between Islands and Royal Pacific, I see Hulk trains testing. I always think how annoying that'd be if I was trying to sleep in and I heard the trains running. Are they audible from the hotel? Or is it more quiet than I thought over there?

It never bothered us when we were trying to sleep.

When we stayed there we could look out our window and seethe hulk but we never heard a thing.

I never heard while I was there. It can't be any worse then the monorail running through the Contmeporary.

which is the best alarm clock i've ever experienced:thumbsup2 ; topped off with the opening breakfast festivites @ Chef Mickeys...

One person's idea of noise is another person's symphony;)

'course we had to be up anyway to head out to an early EMH:rotfl:

As long as i snag a view of the coaster I don't care how noisy it is, that's why they made ear-planes (sound deadening ear plugs - don't leave home without them).

note: imo, the monorail is more of a vibration as opposed to a sound in the guest rooms

You can hear the Hulk from Tower 1 of the RPR, it's not too loud but there. In my case - it's music to my ears!

Hulk is not as loud as Dr. Doom. You can hear it getting ready to go, but I like the sound. And the other noise that I hear is people screaming on Hulk and Dr. Doom. But i can only hear on teh walk from RPR or while I'm at the pool.

i agree...we had top floor tower 1 facing IOA and could hear it from our room when awake, but it never interfered w/ sleep or woke us up

We were in Tower 1 May 31-June 3 and never heard a thing-same in previous years in 2 and 3.

me too but on floor 6.
all i heard was the whooshing sound early morning.
but i had to be near the window in order to hear that.

the night before i was at hhn. got into the room at 2:45 in the morning.
got to sleep at 3:30..........the sound from the hulk didn't wake me up, my alarm clock did.

i set that stupid clock for 7:10 am.
it only took me once to do something stupid like that.
