HULA Rides the Rainbow

Hi all,

We were having a quiet night talking with friends with closing about 10 minutes away when we had a surprise visitor. Hula stopped by! We had already been judged so I did not expect to see any staff. It was great. What a wonderful way to end the night. Of course everyone in the room joined Hula as we "Ride the Rainbow". I was disappointed that I got knocked off the ride and when I got back on I was a ways behind her so I was not able to get a picture of her in the Rainbow Connection Room.
Thanks Hula for the visit and making it a great closing!

Hula is nice but I am not a big fan of her mainly because she plays favorites with her friends. I know she must know these people off the game its so obvious. Everytime I see Hula I see two people trailing behind her and everytime I enter this girls room Hula is there.

Sorry you feel this way. Rest assured I do not know Hula off the game I hardley know her on the game. When she entered the room the few people that were there were a couple of team members and a couple of friends that do not follow her around. There were a couple people who came in right after her that i did not know. Of course we all jumped on the ride as we were excited to have a staff person stop by. I would be excited by any staff person stopping by as we see so little of them in the game they are so busy.

I will weigh in on this. I highly recomend this ride, if you have not ridden it, you will find it is excellent and I do expect it will be a prize winner in the color category.

Awe Thanks Adventure. I am sure our entire team appreciates your kind words.
I agree on the kindness. I was not around for everest so this has been interesting. People are getting a little irritable. It will be nice when all is done and we can get back to usual VMK- playing pirates, catching ghosts, fireworks and chatting with friends.

Hey Bug...I had come into the room looking for Jegrezo (but she wasn't there) just before a certain person standing in the doorway said, "I am a judge in this competition." (It was not staff lol). Then Hula smiled lol. Gave that imposter quite a scare I'm sure! lol

Your ride is definitely awesome for color! Woot! I would think it's a great sign that staff came by twice! :goodvibes

BTW...it was way too funny when all of you jumped off the castle to follow Hula! Woot! :rotfl:

Ok, so I am a little biased because everyone on this team is my friend lol... but honestly, I would be surprised if you didn't win a prize for color. Between the use of color and the play on names, hehe...

OK, so i FINALLY decide that it is ok for me to leave vmk and our ride from the first time in DAYS, and something exciting happens???

This girl JUST wanted to have some fun hanging with a friend at Disneyland for a few tiny little hours.

How exciting that Hula came by - we honestly thought we were done being judged. (And had recovered from the excitement of Fin riding the rainbow!) We've just been trying to get enough bodies in there so we can pull some visitors in to share our creations!

To my teammates who were at the Shallow End, you rock. It's not easy with only 6 of us! (And I LOVE that you hopped right on to ride with Hula. Makes me smile just picturing it!)

And to everyone who posted kind comments about Ride the Rainbow, I know I speak for the whole team when I say, truly heartfelt, "Thanks! We appreciate it!"

It's all about the journey, and what a fun one it's been,

sorry about the other day, my friend arrived to pick me up when my other friend said come here so i went and 5 sec later the doorbell rang do yea

the ride is amazing!

Agreed. But frankly, I must say I'm SHOCKED that Hula thought "pink rocks"
because we all KNOW that GREEN is her favorite color! :teeth:

(Yeah, had to throw some controversy in there somewhere.)

I rode this yesterday, and I thought the colors "popped".

Wow you really have a bitter attitude towards VMK and the things around it. Maybe you should step back and re-evaluate why you even play this game.

Let them enjoy their staff visit and go start your negativity threads about not winning some place else.

i'll try to ride your guy's slide today. still waiting for staff to come judge, but when they do, i know i'll hop on and ride right behind them!

EDIT: nevermind, it appears we have been judged, although none of the team members were on for it. we must have been judged in the wee hours of the morning (darn EST hours!!!!). i'll just go into the corner and weep now.

I am excited to say that I was there (the one wering pink)! I had not had a chance to Ride the Rainbow before Hula entered as I was just chatting with some of the team members (though I'm not on the team). I didn't ride many rides, but I must say that this one was amazing, and by far the best I've ridden! Great job guys! :cheer2:

We are all new to this having not been a part of the Everest Ride Event! and I think we all pulled together to make these rooms. I know we are all closer now then before this started, and that is the Best Prize we could get out of this!

celine12, are you truly serious?!?!? What is wrong with you?

How do you KNOW that Hula knows us? Because she rode our ride with us?

I am so personally offended I honestly have no clue exactly what to say to you except how very sad I am that you feel the need to attack me and my team (let alone an employee of the company that runs vmk who is paid to do a job).

I don't know what "girls room" you are referring to, but how often do you see Hula? I know that I have seen her once in the last week.

Your pettiness and desire to deliberately tear down another team's fun moment is so sad and unnecessary that I truly feel sad for you. Have you not figured out that this contest is NOT about winning a virtual award of some sort?

Over the last month, due to this contest, I have made some new great friends, found support from people I did not even think knew I existed, and grown closer to friends that I already enjoyed fun times with previously.

I have been amazed by the talent of others and have been fortunate enough to be taught by some how to put a few slide pieces together.

I am so proud of our team of six that we successfully participated in a fun contest in a game that we enjoy. And how much fun that we got a few minutes to hang with Hula while she enjoyed our creation.

I just wish you could find some of those magic moments and true rewards that vmk has to offer, instead of feeling the need to make false accusations and public assumptions about 6 fellow players who are simply here to have fun!

We do NOT know Hula out of game. We have met her through the game like most all VMK players. Is it that difficult for you that she wanted to go on our ride with us that you have to attempt to ruin
