To the DIS'ers who suggested I try the Lighthouse Sandwich (the sandwich with hummus) at Columbia Harbor House. I ordered it for the first time on Saturday and really really enjoyed it. I now have a new "must have" when we go there.

I think I am going to try it next month, I did the tuna one and it was ok except for sweet pickle relish and DH really wants to try the chicken BLT salad so I will get the hummus sandwich

I was a little hesitant, considering that I just recently learned that I like hummus, but it was so great. No yucky sweet pickle relish here!

Hi! My hubby has had this sandwich (as of last October) and boy was it tasty! I definately would recommend this to all meat and non-meat eaters alike. I am looking forward to getting one for myself this time.

I also think that because of the non-spoiling ingredients in the sammie that it would also be the kind of sammie that you can take-out and carry with you for a bit if you wanted to just nibble on it here and there.

I had it 3x in August and loved it from the start. It's made fresh so the bread is nice and soft-ish and it's just a nice, refreshing sandwich. And with a nice cold bottle of water - excellent. Certainly the way to go if you're tired of the burger/pizza route!!

i LOVE this sandwich! it's my favorite thing on the menu. even my husband, who would never eat something like broccoli slaw or tomato if it were served individually, likes this sandwich.

It's on a soft-ish multi-grain bread, which happens to be very, very good. Very tasty indeed...
