Huge favour needed please.

Hi All,

I hope someone can help me that is going in the next few weeks.

When i went to DLP a few weeks ago i brought for my Mum 2 Christmas ornaments, they are glass in the shape of Mickey Mouse heads. One has Mickey inside and the other has Minnie inside. They were 7 Euro's 90 each.

Well today i have managed to smash the one with Mickey inside I can't believe i did it.

I would be really grateful if someone would be able to pick me up another one when they visit. I would of course reimburse them for both the ornament and the postage costs.

I hope someone can help.

Oh no what a shame!!
We got one and managed to bring it home safely but i need to be extra careful now!!!

Disney packed them really well, each one was inside it's own polystyrene box sealed with sellotape.
It was my own stupid fault i was showing them to a friend put the one with Mickey Mouse inside on the dining table and the next thing you know it's on the floor in pieces.

They did not pack ours, more, we asked for a pack and they said it was not possible

just an idea we are going on Saturday, I live in Essex, I have checked about 30 minutes drive from where you live. If you would prefer to pick it up rather than trust the post, then I could get one for you.

Ooooo how strange. I did not even have to ask, the lady reached under the counter and pulled out 2 already packed boxes. She then put the other 2 i had taken off the shelf to one side ready to go back on.
I got both of mine in Harringtons fine china and porcelains on Main Street.

I also bought the same ornaments and they were not packaged up - just wrapped in tissue paper! We had to carry them as hand luggage on the airplane as a result. I did think it a bit odd but didn't question it as I was in a hurry!

I can't recall where I bought mine but it wasn't there - maybe because they are a 'china' store they have the correct packaging?

I've bought rather a lot of Christmas ornaments at DLRP and have noticed that if you buy them to take away they don't always put them in a box, sometimes they just wrap them in tissue paper, whereas if you use the delivery service and have them delivered to your hotel then they are always in a box.
