Huey, Dewey & Louie - wrong colors

I have a set of three small plush HD&L figures that were purchased about 7 years ago in Tinkerbelle's Treasures at MK that are not the correct colors (Huey - red, Dewey - blue & Louie - green -- mine are different than this). Has anyone ever seen or purchased anything like this? When my son was looking at them (he was in high school at the time on a chorus trip), the CM said to him, "If I was you I'd buy these quick, because they are the wrong colors and will be collectors items." The kid bought them and has been holding them since. Tags are still on them.

Has anyone seen/heard about these? Appreciate any input - Thanks!!!!

I vaguely recall a set of minin bean bag plush (MBBP) coming in to the DS back when I was a CM of Huey, Dewey and Louie that were the wrong colors. I think they were pulled after a few days but I'm not sure. As for collectablity....as far as I know the market for the MBBP has crashed and burned. They might appeal to an error collector. You can check the various auction sites to get an idea of their value.

I have a set of these from WDW, as well as a set in the correct colors from the DS.


But as was stated above, don't hold your breath in hopes of selling and getting a lot of money for them. The market has bottomed out, because Disney flooded the market with the beanies. You won't even get your money back from them.
