Hubby's Menus Disappeared.

I know one of you computer gurus can help.

He's a computer guru himself. He's good--I mean really good. He builds the darn things and has been in charge of a military computer network in the past.

But we can't figure this one out. One of the kids did it. His menu at the top of his computer screen isn't working on Windows products--IE, Word, etc.

It's the File Edit View Favorites Tools Help menu. The icon menus are still there. We've been through all the possible fixes on the Windows website and haven't gotten them back. I don't think they've been minimized anywhere.

Can someone help him get his menus back?

Menus can be "undocked" from there normal place and become thier own little floating window. Chances are that is what happened, and the window was moved out of the visible screen. Try opening Word,and close everything else. Hopefully you can find them floating around somewhere on your desktop.

I may be reading thie problem wrong but if it is what I think it is try hitting the F11 or F12 button. I can't rememer which one I hit when I lose mine. Hope it works.
