OK guys, I really need to pick your brains as I have no idea where to start.

It is DH's birthday whilst we are away on our Easter trip and I would love to do something special for him. We are staying offsite in a villa but am thinking perhaps an evening meal at one of the Disney hotels? Just thinking a hotel might be quieter than one of the parks? Or even somewhere non-disney (perish the thought :lmao:!!)....

We could even book a taxi/limo from the villa so he could have a drink? We don't drink a lot whilst away with having two LO's but thought it might be nice?

The girls will be 7 & 5 at the time but are very well trained :rotfl2: when it comes to dining out :lmao:

Or is there a restaurant we could go to and also view some fireworks etc?

Am I able to book him a birthday cake?

Any ideas guys please :goodvibes

Maybe treat yourselves to California Grill at the Contemporary - you get a great view of the fireworks as well as a great meal!

Any guidance on what time to book the table for please??

Thanks :goodvibes

Hi Ali,

We have CG booked as a special meal during mid-April, but as Wishes wasn't until 10 we decided that was too late to eat, so have booked for 7pm.

I'd imagine an 8.30 ADR would be fine for viewing, but we jsut don't like eating late (and have the bonus of an MK view room that we can return to after the meal), so bear in mind with your LOs that it could be a late dinner.

If you do eat early though they let you come back later for the fireworks viewing, so you could have a cocktail after dinner then go back and watch them.

Or, if you wanted you could have a meal at the GF or Poly, watch the fireworks from the Poly beach, then get a taxi back from the TTC and beat the crowds leaving after them.

Many thanks for your replies.....

As we stay offsite, I know very little about the resorts and which one would be best :confused3

So depending on what I can book, is the CG best or watching from Poly beach?

Sorry for the dimwit questions :lmao:
