So I posted this picture to show you at least one of the people I'll be rooming with on this upcoming trip. Molly is kind in the front row standing (brown skirt) & I'm the only one not in green.....lol This was from the Dis Diva's 2009 Girls Trip & I got to meet up with them for the Dole Whip for Bawb picture. In fact my hubby ended up taking all the pics for this.

I'd post a picture of Sherry, but even looking at her Facebook photos....I couldn't find one that wasn't from the early 90's..... So I didn't steal a picture of her to share.

I'll also be seeing Janelle for one day.....this is us from the Dis Diva trip this year.....she was vacationing with her son & dad at the same time!!

So for now these are the characters involved with this trip.....hoping maybe another Diva or two will join in the fun while I'm there!!!

I'm glad you didn't steal something from my Facebook page! If I haven't posted it on the DIS, then that means I don't want it on the DIS! I have photos galore in my TR, and some from last December's trip, at the beginning of the December trip, like with the White Rabbit and Mad Hatter and all that.

The reason I have early '90s photos on Facebook is because there are old friends of mine on my FB page who specifically wanted to see them or wanted copies (because they were at those events where the photos were taken). I never intended to load any current photos of myself to Facebook - I really only planned on using FB as a platform for sharing the old stuff that people I've known for decaded wanted to see. Then I loaded some people-free, current DLR shots to show some of my friends who hadn't been to DLR in a while.

And then it just got to be too much of a pain to load multiple photos to FB with my computer in the shape that it's in, so I had to stop loading old photos for a while...until I get a new system.



Anyway, you may only have a brief time to get a lot of stuff done at DLR in December, but I think you will really love the holiday season!!!

Woo Hoo Our check finally arrived!!! It took exactly 26 wks but it's finally here!!! The bank is holding most of it until next Monday....they need to make sure the IRS has the money to cover the check..... Oh well......they did release some of the funds so I...................PURCHASED MY PLANE TICKETS!!!!!!!! I am definitely going Dec 6-Dec 8th......yippee...the excitement is really on now!!!!!!

Well we did a lot of drive bys, but most we weren't interested in (icky house or icky neighborhood).....but we did go & look at 2 of them. The one that would have been minutes away from Mike's work was just too darned small. (and it was a 4 bdrm) Then we found one in Philomath that is west of Corvallis & found a HUGE 5 bdrm that would be nice!!! We've applied & hoping they'll work with us & our stinky credit! We have a great rental history, so that usually pulls more weight. Will know by the end of the week (at least I should).....will update when I find out!
