I am silver and logged in at midnight last night and the hubbard glacier excursion is sold out for my cruise this summer. Has anyone had experience where it would open back up? Or is it full because there’s not another option or just very desirable? If you have been to Hubbard glacier and not done the excursion, could you tell me your thoughts/experience? I am a little disappointed since this stop was the main reason we did the nine night cruise. Thank you.

Hubbard Glacier is very impressive. It isn't really a stop as it is more an experience. Even without the excursion you can enjoy the glacier from the ship as it will get as close as possible and rotate around so everybody gets to see this incredible part of nature.

Thanks. I’m pretty bummed but hopefully something opens. Sounds like it will be nice either way. Appreciate it.

We weren't able to get it last year initially (and I was on the fence), but I kept checking and it did become available at one point. I still decided I didn't want to pay for it, but don't give up.

When you cruised, was their only 1 available time or 2 times available? If 2 times, which would you suggest?

The Hubbard glacier excursion was sold out during platinum bookings. I keep checking regularly to see if they will add another time slot. Technically based on the cruise ship calendar they have us being there from 9:00 to 15:00. So fingers cross they add another time slot. The excursion time slot at the moment is 9:01 to 11:16. But I read somewhere on another forum that it was hard for them trying to get crew last year so that impacted excursions as well. So at the moment were lucky they have one being planned on our trip.

You can try contacting Allen Marine to see if they are adding another excursion time since I believe they will be doing the excursions for Hubbard.

The millennium is supposed to be at Hubbard in the afternoon scheduled 13:00-18:00 so who knows what time their excursion will start as well.
