Hubbard glacier & character pics

I have heard the characters are in their cute “Alaska” costumes (fur parka, yellow overalls etc) on glacier day, with the glacier in the background. We are doing the 9 night next summer, and want to do the Hubbard glacier tour on the smaller boat. If we do that will we miss the character pics in those outfits? Or how does that timing work? TIA!

I believe they come out twice so get the later excursion so you can get all the character photos during the day time hours. Thats the gist of what I’ve been told if you want to book that excursion

My last Alaska was pre covid but back then: early in thz moe ibg (9-11) meets were ibside, then they started outside decksets atoynd noonish til 4ish. Each character would come out tIxe but it was impossible to get through the huge lines to make it from one to the other so you needed that second option just cause you were ztuxk in line… so doing the excursion and seeibg everyone on the outside deck will be verrrrry challenging. However there are tons of opportunities inside in those outfits throughout the cruise (they start weariibg them on the second fay til the second last night and there is no ourate night so all you get is alaska, classic and Alaska and then first and last day sailors

Thank you both! I like the outdoor picture but as long as we can get a picture in the ”Alaska” outfit at some point I will be happy. We have only done a few of the Bahamas cruises and it seemed like they only wore each outfit once, but I guess for 9 days it’s a little different.
