Standing behind the little fences are a favourite spots as it means nobody will be directly in front of you when the fireworks start as people will always stand once they start.

there are several areas with the fences and you can stand behind some of them. The dessert party is in one area you could not access and vip viewing is another. I also think the wheelchair area is behind a fence (it is in front of the grassy area that is on the Casey's corner side of the courtyard area).

I ask because we are planning on a dessert party but aren’t sure about the pre or post dessert party or seats and treats
With my husband in prosthetics he either needs to sit or lean
The view looks better from the grass area than seats and treats but he wouldn’t be guaranteed to lean on one of the fences. Do you happen to know if one is more likely to be able to get to offense to lean on by doing the pre-or the post desert party?

The fences are very low and not easy to lean on. The back fence is a great place to watch because people tend to love to the front of the area but I would not count on him being comfortable leaning on it. I would prob do the seats and treats in his case. I feel like the fence was like knee height or just a bit above and it is hard to sit on. That being said I didn’t pay a lot of attention to it - just remember I wasn’t able to lean on it. I have a bad back. Maybe someone else has better feedback for you. We have done both and actually prefer the seats and treats even with obstructed off center castle view. You can still see enough to enjoy the show. It is just easier on my back
