Hub Construction Completion Date Info

hi all,

So I sent disney an email asking when the partners statue would be uncovered and I got the bellow response. Looks like the hub is scheduled to be done in april.


At this time, we do not have information showing when the Partners statue will be un covered again. It will likely be upon completion of other renovations taking place in the area around it, which is scheduled to be completed around the end of April. That can change at any time, however.

April is when "the area around [the statue]" will be completed (according to this email). It is NOT when the whole project will be completed.

There is still a LOT of work to do there. They haven't even started pouring the concrete for the second ring around the hub, let alone leveling ground for said walkways, putting in new landscaping, and constructing new lighting towers.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's only for the central hub area, but I do hope that April is the date so the statue will be visible on my May trip. I'd take something from a customer service email with a grain of salt though.

It would be good to see, for us who don't go to the parks regularly, a topographical image of the hi. With what areas are in what stage. From the photos that come in the updates it's hard to figure out what areas which at times.

I don't think the front two quarters of the upgrade will take any where near as long as the back two as there is no fountains and it doesn't go over the moat. It's literally just a path with flower beds.
