Ready to (finally) upgrade my phone. I am thinking either the Thunderbolt or Incredible 2 (I have Verizon). The Thunderbolt is $50 more than the Incredible. Any opinions??

Thunderbolt is 4G, so if you are in area with 4G you will see a dramatic improvement in data speeds, however, if you ever think a 3G phone uses battery power quickly, a 4G is only worst.

If speed is not a big issue and you are happy with 3G, I would go with the Incredible 2.

I currently have the Incredible 1 and my only complaints about it are the battery and screen size.

The Incredible 2 fixes both of those.

Reports on the phone forums say the Thunderbolt sucks batter power... people are turning off the 4G even when they have it available.

I'll be getting the Inc II in a month or so.

We aren't in a 4G area, and probably won't be for a while. So for those that had the Incredible 1, you liked the feel of it?

i currently have the incredible 1 and it is great ive had it since launch. but the only bad thing is its battery life and its outdated now i heard the incredible 2 is a very good phone. it has the same 3g speeds as thundebolts 3g speeds so no need in getting the thunderbolt. im waiting for the galaxy s2 to hit verizon but if you want to upgrade now the incredible 2 is deffinaetly the best way to go.

So I ended up with the Incredible 2. TOTALLY LOVE this phone!!!
