My DS (3) was really ill for a couple weeks last fall, and ultimately getting/catching/(not sure of the right/word) HSP. He has suffered no complications. His docs all seem so excited by the diagnosis. His symptoms seem to have been on the mild spectrum. Just wondering if anyone here has had this diagnosis.
I have some pics but not sure how to get them on here. If possible I would like to so other parents, if they see this, will not worry so much. My son's legs looked really, really scary.

My oldest DD had this back when she was 7 it was very scary at first. The bruises and the swelling were horrific. I was 8mos pregnant with DS and it was very stressful for her and me. It took probably 2 months for it to clear up. Good luck!
For posting photos I use photobucket you have to upload pics there and then you can post them here.

Yes, my dd5 was just diagnosed with this about 2 mths ago. VERY scary to deal with when we were going through it, since you have to watch out for the kidneys to make sure it doesn't affect them, watching bruises appear for no reason in span of an hour, major swelling, etc. There just isn't much info about it out there since it's not really known about! They just tell you things to "watch for" over the next year and that it could relapse. I wish there was more info out there for parents!
