HSM Get in the pIcture

My kids love HSM! Does anyone know if they'll be taping any of the Get in the Picture Show at Disneyland? I have tried looking up some info on it - but haven't been able to find anything about tapings....

In the ads on TV I've seen, I thought it looked like a few shots from DLR and WDW (Epcot, maybe?). And I thought it mentioned something about the contestants going to Disneyland to preform once they narrow it down.

My daughters are SO excited for this show too! Normally we don't let them watch TV in the evenings (we don't have cable, so there's really not much on for them), but we'll be making an exception for this show, since they're so excited!

When we were at Disneyland back at the end of April, Nick Lachey was there taping promos for the show!!

Here are the pics we got. I was so excited when I saw the promo on TV and realized that's what I saw him taping!

Yeah, its kinda done already. They were filming it at DCA around May for a few days. Thought it was recording for the new movie but i guess i was wrong.

They filmed this show at my high school. I have dozens of friends that met Nick Lachey, but unfortunately I had no reason to go to the school (They set up for filming during the last week of school and began filming after I graduated) so I didn't meet him. I saw lots of stretch limos around town though.

Disney has a thick interest in my high school. They filmed Minutemen and Read It And Weep there, and parts of HSM. The auditorium in the film is ours and that Moon at the end was hanging in the rafters FOREVER...I think we sold it/rented it to East High School (where most of HSM was filmed) becaming, incidentally, they were doing HSM as their school musical last year. They got the real prop.

Personally I'd shoot myself if we did HSM for our musical...we did classic Rodgers and Hammerstein.
