HS Touring Plan--Suggestions Needed

We will be at HS next Sunday and plan to be there at RD or a little after. Here are our current plans. I am a planner and like to have an idea of what we will do. With the FP+ in place I want to be sure I am not zig-zagging too much around the park. I think I might need to move some times are...Taking suggestions!

Arrive early and ride Toy Story Mania
Star Tours FP+ 10-11am (we have never done this attraction--kids are 6,5,4--will they enjoy this?)
Journey of the Little Mermaid
Backlot Tour
Muppet 3D Vision
Honey I Shrunk the Kids
Lunch: Hollywood and Vine, 12:35pm
Lights, Motors, Action
Great Movie Ride
Meet Ralph and Vennelope at The Magic of Disney Animation
Toy Story FP+ 4:00-5:00pm (should I move this to after lunch?)
Tower of Terror, FP+ 5:00-6:00pm
Dinner: Sci-Fi Dine In Theater, 6:40pm

Your plan looks pretty good. My only suggestion would be to possibly swap out Star Tours FP+ for a Great Movie Ride FP+. Since you are heading there directly from TSMM shortly after RD, the lines shouldn't be too long and the standby line is cute to walk through if the wait is short. You could even wait and do it that day after looking at the line. You've possibly also got time in the afternoon for a show between TSMM and TOT if you hit the front of the TSMM FP slot.

After looking, there's 2 things I noticed, Studio backlot tour is down right now and Lunch reservations are for 12:35 LMA is at 1:20. That's cutting it close. You may put it between TSMM and ToT at 4:30.

Ha, yes, just saw that backlot would be closed. Bummer! We always like that.

OP, you'll never make the 1:20 Lights Motors Action show. I would recommend either moving the 12:35 ADR earlier, or plan for the other LMA show (4:10) which would require changing your TSM FP+ time.

Oh boy. I didn't think the times were available online. My DS would love to see it so I moved TSM FP+ to 2:30 so we can make the 4:30 show later in the day. We can't miss lunch at H&V and they didn't have an earlier time (right now anyway).

Don't miss Beauty and the Beast show! I would not FP star Star Tours early. The lines will all be at Tsm and ToT, RnR that early.

I know! I just don't think my DS will like it (he really couldn't make it through Frozen with all the singing and we are trying to stick together for all attractions). We might try to make it to Beauty and Beast depending on what characters we meet and how long that takes. Then we can adjust some things throughout the day.

Keep in mind that HS is a relatively small park. It's nothing like walking from one end of AK to the other... It wouldn't take more than ten minutes to stroll very casually from Rock n Roller Coaster to Mama Melroses for example. I'd try to avoid planning rides all day one after another on opposite ends of the park, but other than that, it's a pretty simple park to navigate.
