HS touring plan advice

We’re heading back to WDW after a five year hiatus. We loved FP+ and knew how to use it. We were able to ride everything we wanted, sometimes multiple times in a day, using rope drop and FP+. I know our old plans probably won’t work now, so I’m seeking some advice re. LLMP reservations for Group 1.

Millennium Falcon and Slinky Dog are must do’s for us. Is it realistic to pick one for RD and one for our first LLMP in the same day? Or, is there a better way to do this in your experience, such as RD one and end of day the other, for example. I’m open to any and all suggestions. We’ll have at least two full days in HS, so it’s feasible to schedule on separate days, if necessary.

Also, we’ve never seen Galaxy’s Edge, and we want to spend some exploring. So, I need to take this into account.

With regard to Rise of the Resistance, is the LLSP a necessity? Again, we’ve never seen it, so we’re willing to purchase.

We’re also fine with playing around with the app, and scheduling/rescheduling LLMP as needed.

We’ll be at WDW mid-May, before Memorial Day weekend, if this factors into your advice.

Thank you in advance for your help. I’ve loved this forum for years and always learn something when I’m here.

SDD is the hardest to get LL, so definitely go for that one first. Like, at the second it turns to 7am.
MFSR is not so hard to get so make that your second ride LL.

Lots of people here recommend to RD ToT and RnR first and possibly get multiple rides on those since most people make a dash for SDD or RotR. Idk if RnR will be running when you are there, it might be down for refurbishment for the change to muppets.

Hope this helps, and that others chime in.
(There should be older threads about this question if you want to search for them as well).

Definitely grab the LLMP for SDD exactly at 7am. They go fast. MFSR should be easy to grab after that. There is also a single rider line for MFSR you could use for a second ride if you want.

If you are Star Wars fans, I'd recommend getting the LLSP for ROTR. It's expensive, so I guess it depends on your budget. Lines can get long there. If you don't want to purchase LLSP, you could try getting in line about 10 minutes before the park closes. Chances are your wait will be less than the posted wait time.

Enjoy!

Thank you! Out of curiosity, how expensive is the LLSP for ROTR? I’ve only seen a price range online. We’re Star Wars fans and it’s a must. Thought I’d prepare myself now to avoid sticker shock. lol.

It’s a range because it can change daily. There is no way to know the price for a specific date until Disney announces the price.

To see what the price is for the coming weeks:
- open MDE
- select Purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass/Single Pass
- scroll to bottom and select ‘View Pricing by park’
- select the DHS icon
- select ‘Lightning Land Single Pass for Rise of the Resistance’
All upcoming prices are dispkayef

I checked yesterday and the price was $24. It varies by day.
