HS to HDDR - conflicting advice

Sorry, I know this has been asked before but I see conflicting responses. If I want to leave Hollywood Studios to make it to Hoop Dee Doo Revue for the 6:15pm show, what is the best way to get there?

My searching has turned up taking the resort bus to FW and then catching the internal FW bus to Pioneer Hall OR making our way to MK and catching a ferry. What is quickest and easiest with two kids (4 and 6) with a stroller?

ETA - and what time do we need to catch the bus out of HS? TIA!

Take the bus from HS. and Take any internal FW bus(orange, yellow, or purple, all get to the settlement).
Just a warning there are few buses to FW & WL(same bus) compared to other resorts(AS, POP etc). I would head out of HS at 4PM.
To get back there will be Buses to ALL resorts at the settlement to get you back.

There are no direct buses from DHS to MK; you would have to take a bus to TTC and transfer to a ferry or monorail. So MK is not a good option.

But there is also a boat from CR to FtW. The bus from DHS to CR is non-stop. The dock at FtW is a short walk from Pioneer Hall.

Either that, or the bus from DHS to FtW and the internal shuttle. I think it's pretty much just personal preference.

CR when trying to get to MK. A couple of years ago I impressed my DBr by getting us to MK in time for MSEP AFTER seeing Fantasmic! Took the CR bus from DHS & walked (quickly) to MK.

This is the route I'd suggest for DHS to HDDR too. DHS to CR & boat to FW. Boat dock is very close to Pioneer Hall.
