HS to Contemporary (Chef Mickey's)...how do I do this?

Our last day we are going to HS all day and need to leave for our Chef Mickey ressies at 5pm. We have to check out of our hotel (WL) that morning so we will be driving in out car the rest of the day. Can someone tell me how to get to Chef Mickey from HS driving, how long will this take us (on average) and where do we park at the car at the Contemporary? I want to make sure we leave HS in plenty of time as not to miss the dinner. Thanks

Give yourself about 45 min from the exit at HS, which will allow you time to get to your car, drive to CR, park and get up to CM. and check in about 15 min before your reservation.

When leaving HS take a left at the light at Buena Vista Dr. follow to the entrance onto World Dr. (approx 1/2 mi), go thru toll plaza and stay to the right and continue straight to CR. Total drive time approx 10-12 min.

Since you will have your car with you it's very easy driving from Hollywood Studios to the Contemporary as long as you follow the road signs and I would say it takes about 10 - 15 minutes of driving time. As for your other question when you arrive at the Contemporary you can park in their self parking lot that faces the Tower or in the one that faces Bay Lake Tower. Plus you also have the option of valet parking.
