HS Morning EMH Easter Sunday 4/12 Questions

Hi. We will be in disney the from the Friday before Easter until the Thursday after. We really weren't putting too much effort to go on the new Star Wars rides. We'd at least like to walk around Galaxy's Edge, but if we don't get on the rides, we won't be heartbroken. That being said...I noticed there are morning EMH currently scheduled for Easter sunday 4/12 from 8:00 to 9:00 while we are there? I don't think there have been any regular morning EMH yet since GE has been open? Do you think this will actually give us any advantage to attempt to go on the ride? Would the ride itself or virtual queue open during EMH? My question is, is it worth to make Easter Sunday our HS morning with the EMH and try for the new rides...and of course the runaway train will be open also...or not?

They been changing EMH to the afternoon and I think this will be the norm for months to come, specially during spring break because of the crowds. So for now I wouldn’t count on it.

For the new ride I don’t think there is any info regarding EMH, so you’ll need to check after March 4th.

They’ve been moving them to the evening. Basically at 8 PM or whenever they start, the CMs start scanning magic bands at each ride and show. Non resort guests aren’t forced out of the park - they can eat, shop, and watch the Star Wars fireworks, but that’s about it.

I actually would be surprised to see them keep moving them much longer. Once ROTR opens at Disneyland they will have some learnings on how to manage morning EMH. My guess is that when they do morning EMH, ROTR won’t be open for it.

They are already changed until the last week of March. But they can change them again. I would keep checking once your trip dates are approaching.
