We checked in yesterday using the mousesavers code for $69 + upgrade. I then upgraded for an additional $20 for a view of MK fireworks and a jacuzzi. Our room sleeps five- 2 doubles and a pull out loveseat. The exterior of the hotel is dated and needs some work. The lobby is nice as are the rooms. We were very pleased and everyone likes this room better than the one we had at the Dolphin- 18-109. I am spoiled by WDW transportation- so I have just driven to the parks. The balcony on our room is a little rusty as is the glass exterior elevator. My DH refused to ride it! The girls love it! They enjoyed the pool but liked the Dolphins better. There are pros and cons to both HRP and the Dolphin. We have enjoyed our stay at both hotels- if they could only combine the 2- what a wonderful hotel!
We will not stay offsite again (even if it is in DTD) just because I miss the WDW charm and the transportation. For families who would have to get 2 rooms at WDW- this hotel would be great.
The people who work at the HRP are wonderful! We have enjoyed everyone and they have gone out of their way to be friendly and helpful.
