HRH-what are chances they will ask to see my Annual Pass at check in?

I've paid for one...really have! But did it over the phone when my Power Pass expired and upgraded to the Annual Pass. I don't even have my Power Pass any more because I thought it was expired and tossed it.

We won't get to the hotel till 8pm at earliest and parks close at 8. So won't be able to get over to Guest Services to get my AP. About all I can produce is something showing the charge on my credit card but there's no detail.

So what are the chance of me getting hasselled when we try to check in?

If they do ask, just tell them you upgraded your pass and need to pick them up at the parks.

Most likely, they will just tell you to come down to the desk the next day to show that you do have the pass.

However, of all the times we have gone, I have only been asked twice to verify our passes.

I've never been asked to verify a discount. I agree with goofy. If they ask just tell them you ordered it online and have to pick it up.

if you are asked to show your ap, tell them what you said here.
you upgraded it and have to pick it up at the parks but the parks are closed now.

they might list rack rate on your check in until you do show proof of having the ap. you get the ap the next day when the park is opened and stop by the front desk when you come back to your room after doing the parks for the day.

as long as you show them the ap while you are still there and not checked out, they will modify the rate and give you the ap rate that you booked with.

it's no problem and don't fret over it.
this is how they have handled it in the past.

depending on who is at the front desk when you check in, will determine if you will be asked to show the card you booked your discount with.

last year i had to show my AAA card to keep the discounted rate.
which was packed in my suitcase.......grrrr

i was asked to show my AP at check-in in Feb.....i only had a receipt and a "voucher" (looked like a regular ticket) to gain entrance to the park. i explained we bought our AP online and haven't picked them up yet. guess she was satisfied w/ our receipt and "voucher" and said, "ok, no problem"....
I wouldn't worry, like others have said.....you will be able to prove it....just not till the next day.....if you're unsure they believe you, go back when you pick it up and show them and tell them you wanted to be sure they knew you were "legit"

Thanks for your responses! Just didn't know if HRH would be any different than the way WDW would handle it. I've actually never had to show my AP at WDW.

Have stayed at HRH two other times. Last check in was great and had really nice front desk person. The first time was rough and kid had a real 'aren't I cool and you're not' attitude. So unsure of what the 'norm' is.

Thanks again. Looking foward to going back!

Sometimes you get one here and there that has had a bad day. Most of the time, if you are cheerful, I find they are cheerful as well.

We booked AAA rate and weren't even asked for it either, even though we were ready to show them the card since I expected to be asked.
