HRH Upgrades

Has anyone got upgraded using all access at HRH?:goodvibes

Oh YES....double upgrade, kids suite with club access. I paid for preferred room (the one that has 2 beds/pullout couch). I was psyched!! This was on 9-24 and 9-25.

i am here at HRH now and got naff all for my all access nor my annual pass for universal, frankly I think the people on reception are crap hounds and money grabbers. Got a King Suite for 16 nights no view no club access unless I pay $100 extra per night and its going to cost me $320 for in room wifi because it charges per appliance. Never coming here again and might well check out in a day or so.

:goodvibesAll Access it like the Hard Rock reward card. They have two versions, one is free, and the other is $25 or $30. Sometimes you can get extra perks like upgrades, late checkout, and things of that nature with an all access card.

The two times I've stayed at the HRH and showed my All Access card, I was upgraded from a standard to a garden view. Not a great upgrade, but an upgrade nonetheless.

I was wondering if this was with the free All Access card or the paid version. There seems to be conflicting reports about whether or not you can get an upgrade with the free version. I am considering purchasing a card for an upcoming stay.

Thanks

Was this with the paid All Access card or the free one?

I talked to someone in concierge who said that the free one is the one connected with the hotel and that it is possible to get upgraded the first time you use it. Unfortunately, you can't sign up until you get there.

It was with the paid one. I bought it at the restraunt and got a backpack, pin and a coupon or something. I did that as "rumor" was that you would start getting hotel discount with it since the Lowes program was not running at HRH. As of yet, that rumor hasn't come true but....my upgrade did

You can buy it online right now for $24.95 and get a $20 credit to use at the HRCafe plus some extra stuff. I'm tempted to go ahead and get it (just in case ;))!
