HRH Rate for Oct

Hi, planning a get-away for first wkend in Oct. (4-8) and cheapest rate I can find is 269.00. Is this the best I am going to be able to do? I can't get a AP rate to come up. This seems a little pricey to me.

What I have found every year for HRH is that the discounted rates don't start coming out until closer to July and if memory serves me correctly last year for HHN at the HRH, the absolute best rate I could get was AAA.

I would go ahead and reserve, you can always cancel if it stays too high.

i'm booked at hrh on oct 4th for $191.20 with the AAA discount.
then the next 3 nights it goes up to $239 a night.

when i booked, AAA was cheaper than ap.

due to hhn, the aaa rates will not drop down.
it is possible for the ap to drop a few weeks before my trip.

i have both aaa and ap.
i check the website and go with the best rate sometimes.

i have the upgrade to the suite so i don't know if i am willing to give that up if i switch to ap rates.

btw, hrh has the highest rates during the time period i will be at universal hotels.

I got AAA rate of 242.10 for a standard room ( upgraded to a king suite, gotta love loewsfirst! ) Oct 21 - 29th.

Can you stay 5 nights? The master card has 5 nights for the price of 4. Not really saving anything for the 4 nights, but if you are going to have to pay full price for those 4 nights you may as well get the 5th night free.

if you do the mc deal, you are paying rack on those 4 nights.

i have the platinum card and doing the upgrade suite also.


think i will start an october thread for hrh this summer.
then we can compare and cry together when someone gets the deal of the month !! lol
