HRH -mothers day wkend question

I was going to surprise my hubby with a trip I planned June 3-5 at HRH....well he surprised me last night by saying lets go to HRH on mothers day weekend. I called this morning and got two of the nicest girls in reservations Nikki and Vicky at HRH and got rooms for May 9 - 13. My question is, the rates we got are Florida resident rate for the first two nights, and Univ Fan club rate for the last two. Since we are Loews members, I will ask the first day if they have an upgrade, but if they don't, would it be wise of me to ask again the next day. Has anybody moved rooms during their stay. I am soooooooo excited about going back there, I keep reading how everybody feels like a traitor for skipping disney, and all I can say is, after HRH and front of the line . ..... WHAT'S DISNEY?????
No offense to any of you disney fans, I just can't imagine waiting those long waits like we did last thanksgiving, oh it was horrible, and then to go to universal and wait 10 minutes tops!!
Well, we have decided we don't need to go back to disney when we can have it all at HRH, IOA, and Universal!!

I would keep checking for an upgrade, you never know

but from the maids point of veiw they have another room added to their list, so they may tell you nothing is avail. when their really is.

And I totally agree, we found a new home with universal, I dread when they all say... lets just do one day at Disney.
