Has anyone stayed in a kid suite at HRH? I would love to see pictures or a description.
For the last two vacations we stayed at PBH (5 nights in 2000; 11 nights in 2001) and although we loved the hotel, we got tired of the conventions taking over. There were areas we couldn't use, boats we couldn't ride on, the constant ringing of cell phones by the pools!! As we're from the UK and therefore have to pay full rack rate for our rooms, it's annoying not to have full use of the hotel. We accept that the convention trade is so important to the hotel business and this is unlikely to change, but when on vacation we prefer to be with other vacationers. So, next year we have opted for HRH. I believe the convention space there is limited, but can anyone confirm this and share any experiences of HRH? I'm a little nervous about making the change as PBH is so beautiful.
I don't wish to offend anyone who has stayed at PBH (or any other hotel) as part of a convention - all those we spoke to were very pleasant individuals who hadn't chosen the venue themselves and sympathized with our problem.
