I just talked to Loews and they said the EA rate usually come out about 8-9 months before, ie. next Easter should be in the system in 2 months. A problem with making reservations first and then trying for the discount is the discount is only given when the occupancy rate is below 80%. Only make your reservation if your planning to stay there even at full price, otherwise they will not be offering the discount if many rooms are reserved just hopng for the EA rate.

Thanks for the tip on the discount next Easter. They told me that there was a good chance that they might not have Ent. rates next Easter, but on the Thursday after Easter the rooms go down $20.00 per night. After staying here last Easter, there's no place that we'd rather be, so we'll just save those extra bucks, just in case.

Now, whenever the Royal Pacific Resort opens, won't that change the dynamics of a lot of the discounts offered and especially the FOTL privileges in the Spring of '02? Is any of this even a factor when construction projections are often delayed 6 months or so?
