We are staying at HRH for a week and just upgraded to the club level. I was just wondering if the club level is usually busy or if it is nice and quiet. We are going next week and they said that the hotel is booking up but we thought it would be a less busy time in late January. We won't be able to make the breakfast every morning because we want to be out the door by 7:15-7:30 for early access to Harry Potter. Do they have snacks and waters out all of the time or just at certain time? Is it worth it to leave the park early a couple of times to come back for the evening O'deurves?

We are going next week( staying at Portofino Bay) as well..It shouldn't be too busy, the crowd calendar I have seen still says low crowds.HrH is popular and tends to book up.As for being busy I know of at least 2 large conventions going on that are staying at RPR and PBH.But I am not really stressed

Thanks:) It helps to know that there might be a couple of conventions since conventions can take up half of a hotel.

I seem to remember back at Christmas 2010 when we stayed at HRH that during quiet times (i.e. non food hours) we had to ask the club level staff for the water, it wasn't a problem, it just wasn't out to grab on your own. Not sure if this is still the case but thought I would mention it. The club 7 room was not open or staffed 24 hours. You might want to grab a few waters in the evening for an early entry morning and keep them on ice in the room.

As for the O'deurves they were good, different selections each night but we really enjoyed the relaxing free wine and beer more :rotfl: Evening sweets were a nice treat and end to an evening.

We stayed club at PBH in 2009 and I remember that we could make a decent breakfast there, eat a big lunch somewhere in City Walk, then use the lounge offerings in the evening as a quasi-meal, and that worked for us. The stuff they sat out during the day was minimal, but you could go to the lounge any time to relax, which was a nice break from the room.

I believe they have coffee and other drinks out all day, but not real sure of that as we were rarely around the hotel in the afternoons.

We'll be at HRH club in October - be sure to report back how it was!

HRH club lounge is open from 7:30 am to 10:00 pm.

on the day you check in, get extra water bottles to take to the park with you.
just let the TM there know you won't be back in the morning and need the items in advance.

if you want a breakfast, you could go to RPH to the orchid court lounge.
this is located in their lobby.
the open at 6:00 am for breakfast.

the items are ala cart.
you can see the menu on the RPH portion of the UO website.

pastamore's side window in city walk opens at 8ish so that won't help you.

the snacks that they had out when i did club there was pretzels and potato chips.
water and soda is available all during the day.

the morning fare does have crustables that you could get extra of when you do the lounge one morning.

the evening fare is set up in 3 different time periods.
the 5-7 has items out, buffet style.
usually cheeses, finger food, meats such as sausages/etc, and a hot item.
it does vary each day and the menu changes for different seasons.

you can ask the TM's at the lounge what offerings will be available for each day you will be there.

the sweet hour used to start at 8.
don't know if that has changed.

you can call the hotel directly and have them transfer you to the club lounge for any information you need in advance.
