I remember reading a while back that there are larger (deluxe) rooms on club level at HRH, and they do not let you book them in advance, but for the life of me I can't find the posts now.

Can anybody remember the room #s and what the views were of, location etc? We leave in 4 weeks, and I'm getting ready will all my last minute plans, including making my room requests. Also, how do you recommend the room requests be sent: by phone, e-mail etc?

yes you are correct. However, instead of requesting a specific room number call them and ask them to add deluxe room as your request. And dont specify pool or garden view. If you get too specific with your room requests the person checking you in might assume you really wanted room XXXX and if that isnt avail they could just stick you anywhere. Even if they actually have a deluxe room avail it might be garden view when you asked for pool view. Does this make any sense??? lol.

One more thing! Call the hotel and speak with the front desk! The Concierge at the HRH are nothing more than food service with black jackets. Not that they arent extreemly nice, but they really cant get much done for you. Enjoy your vacation!

There are only two deluxe rooms on concierge level. They do not let you book them in advance.

There are actually 8 deluxe rooms on club level. I think 4 are king beds and 4 are double queens. I think disneyfreakk's advice on not requesting a specific room # is right on.

As mentioned above by Fan2CSkr, there are 8 club level deluxe rooms. The king deluxes are 7102,7119,7039,and 7016. The 2 queen deluxes are 7101,7099,7041,and 7019. If you want more specific information about the views from each room just let me know. The deluxe rooms have views of every part of the hotel grounds except the pool.

RyGuy:
Please tell us more about the views from the queen deluxe rooms.
I was upgraded to a deluxe with my gold level, but I might reconsider
if there is no possibility of getting a pool view. I think I might rather
just be upgraded to a pool view to get the great view I had last year.

Thanks for your input...

No deluxe queen rooms on the club level have pool views. Two have front entrance views and two have views of the great lawn and waterway.

Do the deluxe club rooms cost more that regular club rooms? If they do not let you book them in advance, how is it determined who gets them. We are a family of 5 and there is no availability for non club Deluxe Queen rooms during our stay. I might want to upgrade to club level if there is a real chance to get a deluxe queen room.

I'm hoping a family of 5 gets preference but they told me its just luck. We have a reservation for club level July 23-27 and are hoping to get a deluxe since we are a family of 5. Last year we had a regular deluxe room and it was wonderful. I keep going back and forth on whether we should have just booked the deluxe room but DH really wanted to try Club level and the discount on the cabanas is so worth it to us since we rent them three out of the five days we are there.

I checked and made sure it was noted on our reservation and I guess we'll just hope for the best!
