HRH and All Access Card

I am planning to get the Harry Potter package stay at HRH. We have the All Access Card which is suppose to include check in gift and possibility of upgrade subject to availability. Has anyone used the Access Card successfully for a free room upgrade? Do you need to provide your access card details at booking or show it to them at check in? I am trying an Internet booking, and not sure where I can reflect my all access card details. Thanks for any advice.

if you book a standard room, the upgrade, if available, at hrh is pool view.
that is the only upgrade they do.
show your all access card when you check in, if you buy it online in advance.
hrh has in the past issued a basic AA card which doesn't include the other items you would get if you paid for the card.
(which is the one i have)

the only way the free upgrade is available is the day you check in.
you don't need to make any notation about having the card when you book.

you might pay less if you don't go the package route.
break down the components included in the package and price it out individually.

if you find that the difference is the breakfast at the 3B's, you could still eat there as a walk in on some dates.

Were just back from a visit, and on showing our All Access card were given a Pool View upgrade and free WiFi for our stay

I didn't add it to original booking i just showed it on Check Inn

Thanks! There are 5 of us, so deluxe will work better for us. Good to have the extra space. W'll consider CL at check in if deluxe CL is available.

if you go at a slow time period, your chances of upgrading for a lesser fee is better.

some have reported that they have received upgrades when they have checked in.

it had nothing to do with the AA card, just pure luck.
