We have stayed at HRH 3 times before, but never conceirge. We will be going in July. For those of you that have stayed any advice? Anything we should request room wise? TIA

I just noticed your from Wallingford,Ct. I grew up there from 1977-1982 before moving to Florida.

i have stayed at HRH 21 times now.

have stayed club level 6 times.

just ask for a floor level.

trying to pick a room might be tough.
if the room is not available, then you will end up with something different.

request a higher room view.
did you book standard room or pool view?

did you read thru the stickie thread of "post your HRH room assignments?"
you will find what room numbers were favorites of prior guests.

What do you mean ask for a floor level? We are staying HRH Club in august (I presume I booked a standard room). I thought all club rooms were on the same floor? Confused? :confused3

I think the other person was confused. Club rooms are all on the seventh floor.

you had said concierge and there at times people are on other floors and not club and still concierge. that has happened on occassions.

People located on lower floors have the 7th floor key and are allowed to use the club and concierge services also.

There is also concierge desk in the lobby where they assist all guests.

Club is 7th floor.

You can have a front entrance, garden, boat dock, pool, parking garage view from top floor.
are you getting a standard, double queen, deluxe double, king suite room?

depending on the room you have requested can determine the view you will have.
you can specify pool, garden front entrance views.
it is all a personal choice.

standard view has rooms for all views listed above. Standard rooms on 7th floor are the same size as all other floors.

Some people request a room closest to the elevators.
The walk from some of the wings is a long walk.

I have been on 3 occasions where people have the club access and not on 7th floor where club is located. (I was staying on the 7th floor at the time.)

People can book the upgrade when they check in.
If rooms are not available, they are allowed to stay on another floor and have the 7th floor key to use the club facilities.

If a manager is dealing with a serious issue with a guest, he can upgrade to club level to compensate the guest.
If no rooms are available on the 7th floor, then they stay where they are but use the club facilities also.

no, i am not confused. I have seen it happen over the many times I have stayed at HRH. These are things that are rarely mentioned on message boards.

Bas, if you already booked club 7th floor, then you are set and will be on that floor.
You don't have to be concerned you are anywhere else but top floor.

Hi Macraven, Thanks for the info, and you are correct, Last year we were upgraded to club but stayed on the 6th floor, our key allowed us up. Thats why we decided to stay club this year. I booked a pool View.
