can i use my hr emerald card to make a package reservation...do they instantly take the money off?? i can take the money off and put it in my bank but just curious???

Do you have funds on your Emerald Card? The IRS is not accepting e-file returns until the 17th so the earliest you will have funds on your EC will be around the 25th or so for filing 2011 taxes provided the IRS does not hold up your return.

The Emerald card acts like a debit card. I do not know when Disney will take funds from the card but if you are putting down a deposit, I would say immediately.

Verify fees for taking all the funds from the Emerald Card and turning it into cash to put into a checking account. The Emerald card is really meant to be used as a debit card.
