Adam has a vision about being followed by Death Eaters and being kidnapped, but doesn't tell anyone. He gives Max a key to a box, and tells her to only use it to open the box at the right moment. All the AHCR JDs goes for a walk in the Forbidden Forest, when a group of Death Eaters attack him and kidnap him. The ACHR JDs attack, but they still get away with Adam, and take him to Malfoy Manor. Voldemort forces him to have visions of the future, even though he can't control them. Adam refuses and Voldemort kills him. Meanwhile, Max opens the box and finds a sketch of a boy about Adam's age with blonde hair and a puzzling sentence. She and the other AHCR JDs are determined to find him. The mirror in the AHCR breaks spelling out "ADAM IS DEAD". Although he comes back later in a dramatic way, in a new life since Visionaries have 10 lives. He is the boy in the sketch.
