HPRP Another Year 2: Spells, Quidditch, and More Dangerous Games

Max: I miss him everyday. I wake up in the morning, and there's a huge black hole where my heart used to be. And then I jump out of bed and get ready for the day before my emotions kick in. Before my dormmates see that I do in fact have emotions.

Hermione:Well its nothing really,I mean if you let it bother you.*quickly* Which you really shouldnt.*thinks about the threat**sighs* Okay so some slytherins spread a rumor that you are a secret agent for Voldemort and that you are the one that killed Adam and yourself,you know the old Max.You are supposed to be the daughter of Bellatrix and that you are crazier than her.They stole your wand apparently and saw that your history of spells are the cruciautus curse and the killing curse so everyone beleives them and thats why Harry and Ron told you not to come.But you wont let it bother you right?

Max: *shouting and pacing* Stupid Slytherins! I can't believe this! How did they get my wand? I've had it the whole time! *pulls it out of her pocket* I couldn't kill an innocent thing! An insane murderer, sure, but not an innocent! I look nothing like bellatrix, or her husband! They did what?! Harry and Ron should have consulted me! The absolute worst thing to do would be to try to hide me and act embarressed of me! If they'd left things the way they were, then it would not only look as if I didn't care about a word they said, but it would also help other people give me the benefit of a doubt. Because if they let me practice like normal, then I could have shown myaself as a regular chaserr to the team and it would show that Harry and Ron were backing me up, and they didn't care. If people saw Harry defending me, then a lot of other people would have come over to my side, just because it's Harry. Bloody idiots, the lot of you! *pokes her wand into the bottom of her chin* Now I have to go and possibly take my own life because you guys messed up big time!

Max: *puts her arm down, exaperated* I wasn't actually going to kill myself. I just wanted you to believe that I had. It's all part of the elaborate plan I had to cook up to clear Alex's name, because some people who I shall not mention didn't consult me. The plan was that we'd put on a little play. One where Bellatrix would torture and murder Alex, shouting loudly that she hoped that torture and death would serve as punishment for the torturing and murder of some of her fellow death eaters. That way they would think that Alex used those spells to torture and kill death eaters, which is the truth. I have some polyjuice potion that turns one into Bellatrix. I figured we could have used it. And there's a spell I know that I read in a Dark Arts book. It sounds the same as the death spell, but it doesn't kill you, it only makes you appear dead by slowing your pulse, making you paler, and slowing your breathing. I figured we could use thst spell. Then, when we got to the infirmary I could wake up and explain that I knew she was coming forr me, so I took a potion that would eventually make me slip into a coma if one were to attack me. I would have just been lucky. And then I would have a story about how some death eaters came knocking when I was home alone one day and so I took care of them.

Max: Exactly. And none of it is smart. It's just plain old problem solving, somthing I've been forced to do since my mother ied when I was four years old. No one can problem solve these days, Hogwarts needs to make it a required course. They should call it Creative Problem Solving, and I should be the teacher.
