HP Printer/scanner/copier - PSC 1610V

Anyone have this all-in-one? Went out shopping yesterday and so far this is the one I like best.. Not too big - ink cartridges are very reasonably priced - and I found a great sale price for it..

I'm not interested in anything but HP, so I was wondering if anyone has this particular one..

I think that's the one that was in an email from either OM or Staples today with a really good sale price or a rebate. I didn't pay that much attention because I don't care for the 3 in ones (I've been shopping for a photo printer the past two days, so I'm googling sales as well)..but be sure you google for comparison shopping.

edited to add..I found the OM email..and it says everyday regular low price of $129 (although it didn't have a v..just 1610)..so it must be a different place..since that doesn't show a sale. If you do get it at OM, they have a bunch of discount coupons out there..

edited again to add..I didn't read the details, but it appears its $106 with free shipping at Amazon. If this is the same one you were looking at.

I just got one couple weeks ago, is a Scanner, Fax, Printer and copier, you can put the papers on top to copy, the prices was $100.00 w/$ 30.00 mail in rebate.

Just read a bunch of reviews on this one on Amazon and there's some pretty bad ones there.. Seems that the problems don't make themselves known right away - usually a few weeks or months down the road..

Now I don't know what to do.. Whatever I buy has to be an HP because I've yet to see another printer that produces the photo quality that they do.. Also has to be 3-in-one (printer/copier/scanner - NO fax) and can't be one of those HUGE machines because space is at a premium and I also want to be able to take it to Florida with me next year..

Any experiences with the other HP 3-in-ones that you have had for a fairly decent length of time? My lap top isn't due to ship until the 27th, so I still have time to shop around..

I'm really disappointed by those reviews because I've had such good luck with HP's - as have my DD and her DH.. Right now they have an all in one (including fax) and for 2 and a half years it's worked great, but it's WAY too big and wouldn't work for me..

I believe you can use that one as a fax too, since it has a scanner (using your computer to send). The copier part is prob pretty much the scanner. I wrote you a PM, since everyone always loves what they have, and I've seen big "discussions" on printers start LOL.

I have a 1610 (not V) that my mom got free w/ a pc purchase. I use it quite a lot an haven't had any problems w/ it. I just use it for printing regular stuff like spreadsheets, calendars, etc., though - I don't use it for photos
