I have the ZV6130 and absolutely love it. This is my second HP and I've been very happy with them.

Watch for them to go on sale at Staples. I got mine for $850 there.

I have an HP laptop that is now almost 2 years old, and I love it. My sister also has an HP laptop - (she is on her second - she just had to have something new - and she gave the other to her grandson) - which she loves. I also have an HP desktop, HP printers, and two HP Digital cameras. I have never had any issues with any of them!

I know I love my HP zd7000 too!

My sister has too buy 2 laptops (one for my nephew serving in Germany right now)
and wants to know if that specific model would have what they would need ofr memory etc...

Basically for e-mail, surfing, pictures, general stuff ! Nothing super fancy!

I have an HP zv5000 and love it. At work I use something similar to the one in the OP and it's fine, too, for the basics. We have a lot of HP products at home including a desktop, printer/scanner and of course my digital camera (LOL, have never seen anyone else around here with one mak).

BTW, WalMart is the biggest retailer of HP computers, you can often get a good deal there.
