Hows the Wyndham Palace Resort and Spa?

I have not stayed at this hotel so I can't comment on that issue. I did go there for a anicure and pedicure though. It was one of the best I have ever had!

We have just won an auction on Ebay for 2 nights in an Island Resort Suite, 2 certificates for spa treatments and 2 dinners at Arthur's (up to $150). I have some questions for those that have been to the spa, dined at Arthur's and those that have worked there.
What location would request for the Island Resort Suite? Last time we stayed (in Nov.) on the 26th floor which was a great view of the fireworks. Are there suites on that floor? Should we request "recreation view" or Epcot fireworks view? Do these suites have little fridges? Larger balconies?
Has anyone received a spa treatment? After reading the website I am considering the "Hot Stones". My wife (who never goes to Orlando with the kids and I) is stoked about the spa but doesn't want to get stoned. She is leaning towards the "Combination" which includes a little Shiatsu and some Swedish. Any recommendations?
Arthur's? What do the 2 of us get that adds up to the $150? Or won't that be a problem? Good steak? Desserts? What time do we make ressies for to witness the fireworks? What is the dress code? Tie?
The Wyndham website has a Spa Special for the time we will be going for $350 a night and that is what the auction went off at for 2 nights, with Arthur's thrown in, so I'm happy with the cost.
The kids will just be happy with Mardi Gras at Universal!
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help. I agree with the others about the bad TA reviews. There is a good one on Betterbidding.com though.

When we were there in 1996 the food at Arthur's was fabulous!! It was probably the best resturant meal I have ever eaten. I hope it is still good. We had a couple banquets there too and even the banquet food was outstanding. Request a window table and find out when the Fireworks show at Epcot is that night and make your reservations then. What a great way to eat a meal.

You will easily spend $150 there, if you have drinks.

I have had hot stone massages at other spas before. They were ok, but the stones were too hot for my liking, but I am not someone that likes really hot showers, baths, hot tubs, etc. It was different then a regular massage. Personally, my favorite spa treatment is a good facial with a scalp massage. I have had several massages and find the 'sports' type massages leave me sore. I like a good old theraputic massage, or basic massage for the relaxing nature of the massage. 50 minutes goes by really fast during a massage!

Thanks for the info. I tried to make ressies for next weekend and was told there wasn't availability even though their website and several vendors (even Hotwire) show that there is. Since I was reserving with a certificate they have the right to deny the date. Hope the customer service improves by April 1st!
