How's the water?

I really dislike it. I only drink bottled water while at Disney World, even for brushing my teeth...

my mom taught me if i can't say something nice to not say anything at all - so thats all i have to say :rotfl:

We grew up without bottled water and have no problem drinking WDW water, never have bought any bottled wated while on vacation or anywhere else for that matter. Long ago there was no such thing as bottled water and the world still turned.

Meh ... it's Florida. Always safer to figure on a taste-test in that particular state.

I dislike the water at MK very much! I only drink bottled water at that park. I don't mind the water at the other parks though. We usually refill our bottles at all the parks, with the exception of MK, and use Crystal Light drop ins. Then it's fine. It saves a lot of money when we do it like this.

I didn't notice any difference between the drinking water here in Michigan and the water in Florida. Next time we go I'll try to see if I can tell the difference though...

I am one of the few who has absolutely no problem with it. Personally my belief is that bottled water is a ripoff unless it fizzes or has flavor added.

It depends. Newer construction or rennovated buildings must have a water filtration system. It is a Florida building code. So, if you get water from a tap in a new or rennovated structure, it's not bad. If you get it out of one of the old drinking fountains or a restaurant that has not be rennovated, it will not be great.

We've never had any problems drinking it. But it does taste funny. DW says it tastes "like fireworks". :rotfl:

At EPCOT, MGM, or AK when I buy a bottle of water, I hold onto the bottle and refill it from the fountains. (Not as good as the original water but drinkable.)

At MK the water tastes so bad that I throw the bottle out and buy a new one. I think MK has bad tasting water because of the age of the pipes and fountains there.
All the other parks are newer and probably have filters on their fountains.

Remember you can bring water into the park with you if you want. And a few places sell filter bottles.

Have a good trip!

When it is in the mid thirties close to forty with the humidity.....I could care less what the water tastes like as long as it is wet!!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm definatly the same way!

Maybe it's a Michigan thing?
