How's the crowd level

at the end of Oct? We are planning on going Oct 21-28 for our first visit home to OKW! Anyone have any experiences for that time frame in the past? Also, what would be the best night to get tickets for MNSSHP?

I don't think the crowds are too bad at that time. The one place to watch for big crowds would be Epcot as the Food and Wine festival will still be going on (I think). Last year I saw reports that the weekends were crazy over there.

So are all of you as excited about MNSSHP as my family and I are? It will be our first halloween at Disney!

Our last trip was the last few days of October including Halloween night. It was a great time to go. The weather was comfortable and the crowds were definitely low in comparison to many other times of the year. We'll go back there again this year since Halloween falls on the weekend.

DD loves going to WDW for Halloween. We don't even go to the MK party. There's lots of other fun stuff to do on property! (oh our pics below are from this past Oct. trip)

If you're looking for relatively low crowds I recommend this time. We didn't wait more than 15 minutes for anything and the 15 min waits were in the F&W lines at Epcot!

As far as the best night for MNSSHP I would think whatever night fits into your schedule best. Most of the nights eventually sell out anyway, Halloween night though is usually the first to sell out.

Maybe this past October was different as jwfla422 says it was not too busy.

We've been about 5 times in the past 10 years the end of October and it is pretty crowded - EPCOT being the most crowded. In fact I just read I think it was in Birmbaum's that the F&W time is now one of the busiest times. The weather is usually great, lower humidity. If you have young ones and do not want to do a park on Halloween night - the boardwalk has a party going on starting at dusk.

We were there 10/19-24 and thought the crowd levels were very managable. Epcot was definitley the most crowded. The weather was perfect! 80-85 and sunny every day of the week. We're most likely going back at the same time this year.
