How's the BWV pool lookin' these days...

We are inching ever nearer to our big 2 week stay in WDW. Since we will be at BWV for the bulk of the time, was wondering how the pool was looking -- specifically, the cleanliness. Last time we were there, man, those tiles needed a SCRUB big-time. Could hardly even see poor ol' Dumbo (we dubbed him "Scumbo" it was so bad!) And there were crunchy leaves all over the lounge area to the left of Leapin' Libations or whatever it's called. (And it wasn't fall, either -- so not sure where they all came from...)

So tell me how it looks now?

We were there last week and we swam at the main pool all day everyday. There was a CM in the pool one day cleaning all of the tiles around the perimeter.

We found the area to be fairly clean. There were a few leaves here and there. But, we were thoroughly happy with the condition of the pool, the grounds, and the hotel. We also found the staff to be great too.

By the way, when we left, all of the dishwashers in our 'wing' were being replaced. I thought that was a little odd considering the one in our unit was in great condition. We were on the 4th floor overlooking the Keister Coaster stairs.

We were there last week pool hopping to the BW (first time there) and thought it looked very clean. The red section of the slide looked a little worn/sun faded to me...but other than that I thought the place looked great!

Nope, tiles are still dirty and everything looked like it needed paint, especially the elephants. (We were there two weeks ago.) a matter of fact, I even mentioned this in my trip report!

Here, I went back and got it -
Everything looked fab, pool needs a little touching up though I think. Tiles looked dirty and everything looked like it needed a coat of paint.

I remember the slide was re-habbed last Oct. It was closed while we were there and re-opened the day before we left.

Can't remember if that was the whole pool or not.

We just returned today - swam everyday. I usually notice if tiles look bad, but didn't notice anything, so I guess they were ok. Bozo looked like his hair could use a coat of paint. There were lots of little pink flowers on the concrete, falling from the trees, but we had some pretty severe thunderstorms the last 2 nights, so I guess that could cause some of the little flowers to fall off. Overall, I thought the pool was ok, and I'm pretty fussy.
