Thinking of trying it on my solo shopping day at DS. Any especilly good sandwiches?
I agree. Personally I never understood the hype for EOS. To me its always been a glorified subway. Nothing special. But that's just me. I agree that there are far better options at DS. Although if you feel like a sandwich and youre on a budget and want something quick, then perhaps EOS is the right place for you.People used to comment quite a bit about how much they loved this place, then the enthusiasm died down. A week or so ago there was a post about how it had become pretty lackluster, comparing it to a turnpike sandwich shop. There are so many places to eat at Disney Springs now, you might consider looking into some of the newer venues. I think you can do better than EOS.

See that and I read the article twice and never noted it was DLThanks, but thats DL. I'm at WDW.
After I posted my comments I started thinking that all that love for EOS was prior to the revamp from DTD to DS. Dining choices were a lot skimpier prior to the reboot of the area. In that most people in the U.S. have some kind of a sub sandwich place within minutes of where they live, I just think there'd be more interesting choices now at DS.
That's basically what happened with us - we really like "EoS", but then "Blaze" opened, and we were hooked - I know, only pizza, but the kids love it there !
IDK I love pizza but I live in WNY where just in the specific small city I'm in there's a good 10 non chain Pizzerias that I can think of off the top of my head.
I suppose in a place where you've mostly got Pizza Hut or Domino's you'd be more likely to try pizza from somewhere like Disney.[/QUOT
We live in Brooklyn - and NYC is supposedly one of the pizza capitals of the world ! ( we DO have excellent pizza here)
Guess its all a matter of comparison/perspective - we have been dealing with pretty lousy WDW pizza for years ( with the exception of Via Napoli, which we love !) Think that's why our kids fell in love with Blaze
If you are a fan of Thanksgiving dinner, then the holiday turkey sandwich is a must. It is always my go to when visiting Disney Springs and eating at EOS.
