How's DHS been working with just one FP for rides?

I've been trying to put together touring plans, and the waits, except for whatever I have a FP for are really long, even at RD (and I will not try to RD GE).

You can pre-book 3 FPs for DHS attractions. Rope drop the ones where you haven’t booked a FP and plan to book FP#4 as soon as you enter the line for FP#3.

Using Touring Plans? It doesn’t calculate in RD and presumes that you will arrive at park opening.

Looks like 1 ride and 2 shows, though. I know I can scan at the 2 shows, not go in, and then try to get the 4th, but I was more curious about the length of lines for rides since the change. Maybe I have to wait and ask after Nov. 2nd

as a local ap holder that can only pre book fp 30 days out, the new tier system has made it easier to get a fp for any of the rides. SO I am all for it

No. Your initial 3 FPs of the day when staying in 1 park has to consist of 1 Tier 1 + 2 Tier 2s.

I think that's probably true. I think the change in FPs is going to become more problematic when shorter park hours mean longer lines and more people wanting same day FPs (as opposed to getting several headliners done during EEMH).

Yeah, but if you want to try to book another tier 1, I would just scan in then not go and pull out your phone and see what pops up for Tier 1s. The second you scan in your 3rd FP you can try to find another tier 1 if any are there!

Correct. Use 1 Tier 1 and 2 Tier 2s or the system blocks you from booking any other FPs.

You need to complete the first 3 before you can book an additional, in your case a tier 1.

Yeah, as long as you select 3 at some point and either go or not go, when your last one is up you can start making another selection.

Last few months times dont really help for future with the extra 3hrs early opening would really throw off wait time stats

Yep. That's what I'm thinking. I have a feeling that first week of November is gonna be ugly. Hope I'm wrong.
