I get really bad migraines and they really kicked me for a few weeks
but i am feeling back to my normal self just about so

I am so glad you are feeling better, Kayla. Migraines really suck, and there isn't much you can do but wait them out.

Good morning - glad you're feeling better Kaylijr. Do you take anything for your migraines? I rarely get them now (a plus side of menopause) but I do take Imitrex when I do.

Imitrex and the side effects I suffered were actually worse than the migraines

I normally take Firinol with Codiene( I know spelled wrong)

but They are trying some new stuff too

can't remmeber the name right now

Glad you're back! Migraines suck!

My poor DS has had them since he was a baby...they are finally getting better since he is out of puberty, now just several a year. They don't give little kids the migraine meds...so he had to suffer. I used to get them but since I hit 39 and holding, I think I've only had a few. They can really lay you out!

Sorry you have been feeling so bad. I get them from time to time - the longest one I had lasted 6 days. I take Cephadyn when I get them - it makes me sleep for a while but the headache is usually gone when I wake up. If it isn't, I just take some more and go back to sleep.
