I think Howard Stern loves it when people "go after" him. It keeps him in the news and relevant. Kind of like a kid saying "pay attention to me". That is how he makes a living.
Well...plus size and extremely plus size women do work in Hollywood. At times it can be more challenging--but with acting chops and a savvy agent, she should have no trouble making it a career.
Howard Stern is ignorant and I doubt his comments had anything to do with actual concern. He's a pot stirrer and that is why he said what he said.

I think that was just a rumor without any truth to it.
Not to defend Howard Stern, but honestly, much of what he says is what a lot of other people are thinking. The difference is that he's not exactly known for his grace and tact and maturity.
She for sure does not fit the typical Hollywood mold, which means there would not be as many opportunities for her.
I admire her confidence and talent.
I agree with you. But I just couldnt believe what he said about this 23 year old girl. He has kids her age. I just thought it was completely sick. And Robin, OMG, as a woman of color, it was disgusting to hear her comments.
Granted it was said with bad intentions, however what he said is NOT untrue. She is a very, very large black woman. Not opinion, fact.Theres the most enormous, fat black chick Ive ever seen.
So because Robin is black she is not allowed to say anthing negative about another black person?

I as a black woman yeah, I'm very insulted by her words. After everything we have been through, women like her make me SICK. Howards words were directed to black people. His words were that she was the biggest black woman he has ever seen. So yeah her encouraging his behavior is wrong that woman disgusts me.
Just curious if they were talking about an obese white woman would you be equally disgusted?
yeah, I'd be disgusted, but based on my beliefs, and how I was raised, this Robin chick really pisses me off more then Howard. That's my opinion, sorry if you dont approve, but that's how I feel!

And this makes it okay to talk about, and talk about, and talk about, etc etc? Why is her size so very important and crucial to the rest of us? Does anyone here know if there might be an underlying cause for her obesity? Or maybe, because she's overweight, all she does is sit around all day and eat chips and chocolate, and drink Cokes. Should we discuss that for a while too?
I happen to be a "very large white woman". I used to be very very, but now I'm doing something about it. Not that you all need to know that, just thought I'd point it out that yes, I am offended by people who point out things that are I'm sure known by the people in question. You think she has delusions, that she sees Beyonce or Tyra when she looks in the mirror? I doubt it.
Wow. I can't believe how self-righteous some people can be; can we discuss how incredibly, hideously ugly Howard Stern is? Would that garner pages upon pages of responses? I doubt that, too.
(I guess it's a good thing this large white woman has an extra heavy duty soapbox...)![]()
Out of curiosity... Did anyone on this thread actually hear the entire conversation on the radio? Actually heard it in context or how it started?
Not to say it would make a difference but here is a guy, who so many people on here can't stand but there is a thread going about what people read that he said.
