Howard Johnson

Hi! I just took at look at the Howard Johnson hotel in Anaheim and it looks amazing value for the money. They also have terrific reviews so we´re thinking about staying there during our trip in October. Does anyone know if it´s better to book now or wether we will get better prices closer to the dates?

Well I am not sure about in October. But, we booked our room for this month a long time ago. I keep checking and the rates have just gone up, up , up the closer it gets. But, this is summer time, October, make be totally different!!!

I say book it now and keep checking. I booked Paradise Pier for September awhile back on expedia and now its on sale with a fourth night free. Very aggravating! But when I called expedia they let me cancel the first one and then re-book under the new rate. They charged me $25 but since the free night saved me $149 it was worth it. It was a hassle but it saved me some money.

I stayed there last July and will be there this July also and enjoyed the hotel (hey I *am* going back

As for the rates Ive been under a group rate both times so I don't know what the "deals" are

Disneyland_emily, I'll miss you by a few days. We'll be there just after the long weekend. July 6 - 13.

Booked our room at the end of March. I'd say keep an eye on prices. They're doing some more renovations during the "off season" so who knows what that will do.
