Howard Johnson Plaza - Room Types

Be careful of some of the 2 queen deluxe rooms as some only have one sink instead of 2. We had room 2424, which is at the end of building 2, closest to Harbor Blvd. Nice spacious room, but only one sink made it a little more difficult to get ready in the morning.

Next time we stay at HOJO, I think we will book a premium room so we have a sink outside the bathroom rather than inside the bathroom. Just makes it much more convenient.

Having the microwave was nice as we were able to make oatmeal for breakfast in the morning.

IMHO, I'd avoid buildings 3 & 4. I stayed in a king room in building 3 in Oct/10, and found the room to be noisy, and when the fireworks went off it sounded like a bomb was going off in my room (not kidding!!). Building 4 tends to be noisy, as it's close to the Pirate Play area. It seems like there is not as much sound proofing in these buildings. But that's just my opinion. DIS'ers get a 15% discount for staying at HOJO's, and quite frankly if it wasn't for the discount, I'd be giving the CCI a try. The code is LNDB, and you can use it when booking online at their website. At HOJO's base rate for $10 (before the DIScount) more at the CCI, I can get a continental brekki and a free shuttle to the parks. I feel it's a clean, safe hotel and great for kids. Their customer service is fairly good, and have stayed there many times.
